ATI's Superglide 4 is the strongest Powerglide in
the industry, exclusively from ATI! For use in
high horsepower race cars, pullers and monster trucks,
the Superglide is available for popular Chevy, Ford,
Mopar and Toyota applications!. With many custom components made exclusively by ATI, it’s the ultimate in reliability! ATI Superglide 4 Lock-Up transmissions
come with an ATI Outlaw Lock-Up Torque Converter (#408422LU).
If you already own a Superglide 4 transmission and would
like to convert it to a Lock-Up, you may order a Lock-up
Conversion Kit complete with Lock-Up Converter for $4995
(#202420) when you return it for overhaul. Price does
not include replacement of any broken hard parts or
overhaul.

| CRITICAL
LOW GEAR BAND ADJUSTMENT
- To keep your ATI Steel Drum Powerglide trans in good
working order, you must keep the band adjustment in
check. 80 inch lbs - back out 3.5 turns! For Superglide®
Transmissions: Check and adjust the band after each
pass (especially important when brand new). Once the
band stops changing then check at the end of each race
day or after 8 rounds. This will vary with HP as Superglide
units are rated from 2000 to 3500 HP. Just remember
five minutes of maintenance here will help the low gear
band do its job. Call a Sales Technician for more info. |
Billet Bellhousing Spacers
Bell Spacers for Chevrolet and Ford Modular transmissions allow proper clearances and spacing for taller and lock-up torque Converters. These spacers are precision machined from 6061 billet aluminum and available in five thickness: .5”, .625”, 875”, 1” and 1.125”. The Ford Modular and Godzilla spacer can be ordered in any of the Chevrolet thicknesses. All of these plates come with new precision ground dowel pins and the thicker plates come with 2" long pins Because it is from ATI, you can trust the quality of these bell spacers is second to none.
