Inner and outer shells are available in aluminum or steel, and contain a steel inertia weight. This inertia weight has six (2-ring design) or eight (3-ring design) computer machined grooves to retain the proper durometer O-rings (dyno tested for each application).

  1. Requires shorter belt (Goodyear #4070975) 7 groove.
  2. Use Duralast belt #560K4
  3. Must turn down OD of stock washer to 1.850”
  4. Requires a 97.75” long belt - Gates part # K060975
  5. These are 8 groove dampers. Your OEM belt is 7 rib. Use the first groove closest to the engine. Aftermarket belts are 6 rib.
 
  1. Requires Shorter Belt: PN 5060800 Dayco Belt
  2. Damper features integral steel hub with inner shell
  3. For 6.4L and 392, use 5.7L / 6.1L OEM or ARP retaining bolt
  4. Comes with 6 groove 5.306" OD serpentine pulley #916217
  5. Adds 3 PSI. Requires 59.4" belt: Gates K100594HD. A/C bracket may need grinding for clearance.

  1. Hubs are dimensioned to clear the stock cast-in timing tab on MOST applications. Due to changes by the manufacturer over time, the tab MAY need to be ground and re-welded. The damper face for pulley mounting will be forward of the OEM location by .150” for 2-ring internal balance, .450” for 3-ring int. balance, .750” for 3-ring ext. balance. Hubs may be shortened by the listed amount for internal balance & by .600” (.150” fwd of OEM) on ext. balance if tab is cleared. 2-ring int. balance can be installed in OEM location with minor clearancing of timing tab & retain OE timing mark.
  2. Customer must cut and reweld the stock timing tab. This damper is OEM location.
 
  1. Cannot retain OE location. Must space out accessory pulleys .750”.
  2. For 2 ring dampers, use hub 916254M.
  3. Supplied with new lightweight aluminum pulley to retain stock belt location.
  4. For Paxton Supercharger, add part #916266 for new aluminum pulley with 7 rib & 8 rib, 7% OD. Retains OEM belt location.
  5. Passenger timing.
  6. Not an OEM replacement for stock pulley location.
  7. 3/8” pulley bolts in shell. Hub has 5/16” bolts.
  8. Will retain stock location for pulley alignement.

  1. Hub has 2 3/16” wide keys at 180º and requires a #916261M spacer, supplied with the damper.
  2. For GTS-R, call your Sales Technician.
  3. Supplied with new lightweight aluminum pulley to retain stock belt location.

How to read this chart
  1. Locate the correct manufacturer's chart
  2. Choose the specific engine application listed down the left side of the chart
  3. Determine if the damper needs to be internally or externally balanced ( external balance dampers are constructed of steel only). Black bars that extend horizontally across the entire chart designate these sections
  4. Determine if you need steel or aluminum shells. Labels for this information are listed across the top of the chart in columns 2 and 3.
  5. Once you have determined the shell material, you need to find the outside diameter (OD) of the desired steel or aluminum shell. Then choose between 2 or 3 rings and the desired weight of the damper.
  6. From the far right section of the chart, select either a steel or aluminum hub for your desired engine application. To determine the correct damper assembly part number that intersects is the correct damper assembly.
  7. Assembly part numbers that are color coded correspond to the pulley mount bolt pattern listed near the top of the charts.
