Racer Update: NMCA Atlanta & NHRA Charlotte |

ATI'S CHRIS RINI TAKES BACK TO
BACK NMCA WINS!
Fresh from a win at the NMCA event in
Bradenton, FL, Chris Rini and his ATI sponsored '69 Camaro
headed to Atlanta Dragway for the NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals.
On day one, Chris Rini ran a strong 6.03 @ 235 in the
heat of the day to earn top qualifier in the Kooks Custom
Headers Pro Street class. The following day, Rini put
up a 6.06 @ 234 MPH in the final round, making it back-to-back
wins to start off the NMCA season! Chris' team worked
hard all weekend putting down a string of consistent runs
of 6.03, 6.08, 6.13, 6.10 and 6.06 adding up to a second
win for 2012. Rini will be heading into MIR with the points
lead, but it's a long season ahead with some tough cars
in the class. Rini's Camaro is currently armed with a
Superglide
4 Lock-Up Trans and Outlaw
Lock-Up Converter, running Super
F ATF, a SuperPlate
flexplate and ATI
Super Damper.
Chris Rini and teammate Scott Cozzali will have their
cars on display at the Charlotte Auto Fair at Lowe's Motor
Speedway this weekend from Thursday, April 19th to the

WINS NHRA SUPER GAS AT CHARLOTTE!
At the NHRA 4-Wide Nationals outside
Charlotte, NC, it was long time ATI racer, Iggie Boicesco
who drove to the Winners Circle! He cut a .018 light and
defeated Frank Altillo in the final round with a 9.905
@ 168.62. Iggie's S/G "Obsession" Corvette has
host of ATI products throughout, including a Straight
Cut ProGlide transmission, 9"
MRT TreeMaster Converter, SCS-30
Trans Cooler, Super
Damper and Super
F Synthetic Transmission fluid to make for a winning
combination. Way to go Iggie!
