Sales / Technical Specialist – High Performance Automotive

ATI Performance Products, Inc. is seeking an experienced Sales / Technical Specialist with a strong background in drag racing and automatic transmissions. This in-house position focuses on providing technical guidance and product support to customers, with sales as a supporting function.

This is not a traditional sales role. A high level of technical knowledge in high-performance racing applications is required. Candidates must be able to answer detailed technical questions and recommend appropriate products based on racer combinations and performance goals.

ATI is a family-owned and operated company with over 60 years in business, producing American-made performance components in-house for applications ranging from NASCAR to street performance vehicles. Our facility is located minutes from the Baltimore Beltway (I-695, Exit 17).

Job Responsibilities
• Provide technical guidance and product support before, during, and after the sale
• Assist customers with racer combinations and performance recommendations
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, and in-person walk-ins
• Support product marketing and technical communication efforts
• Identify new product opportunities by staying current with industry needs
• Maintain accurate documentation related to customer interactions

Position Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in high-performance automotive racing environments
• Strong working knowledge of automatic transmissions and drivetrain components
• Confident, customer-focused communication skills
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with inbound phone-based sales

This is NOT a typical sales position. It is more “tech” with the ability to sell. This position requires extensive technical knowledge of drag racing and automatic transmissions. Candidates without this background will not be considered.
