Outlaw® Racing Torque Converters



ATI's new line of Outlaw racing torque converters are designed to meet the high horsepower demands of heads up style drag racing. Outlaw Racing Torque Converters come in 10" and 10.5" models and are available with 5-axis fully machined Billet Steel or hand-built steel stators and have 6-bolt mounting on the GM small bolt circle. For maximum efficiency each torque converter has one-way sprags with a .5" thick wall on the inner race for the C-6 stator spline used on Bruno and Lenco units.

 ATI-manufactured billet, heat-treated turbine hub
    Centerless ground 4140 alloy steel pump hub with
   .0002” tolerance
 ATI-manufactured .0002” concentric heat-treated races
    Special 22 element sprag with double cage     construction, more than 50% increase in holding     strength over standard sized sprags
 All new parts are 100% manufactured & welded in-
    house on ATI’s own CW3 Converter Welding System

Lock-Up Outlaw Drag Racing Torque Converters®


ATI's Outlaw Lock-Up Converters lock up in just .03 seconds when used with ATI’s SuperCase and Pump. Standard welded units provide 0% slip for up to 2800 HP while the Bolt Together Lock Up Converter will provide 0% slip all the way up to 4500HP! Both converters feature 5-axis billet aluminum back cover, dual o-ring sealing, optional Nissan style pump and multiple stator designs. A bronze pilot option is also available.

Bruno-Lenco Conversion Kit
Convert your Bruno for ATI’s Lock Up Racing Torque Converter!


ATI’s Bruno-Lenco Conversion Kit includes all the necessary materials required to convert your Bruno drive for use with an ATI Lock Up Torque Converter, and can also be used with non-lock up torque converters. Once built, the converter will be taller than a standard Bruno converter and will require a thicker mid-plate, bell spacer or deeper bell.

 Available with 32 or 35 spline output
 New input shaft and stator tube
 Heavy duty solenoid plumbed for nitrous or air - clutch
    apply by ATI’s exclusive external mounted zero leak     sealing rings (U.S. Pat. #6892533B2) providing zero     leakage.
•  Requires a 300 PSI air source (air - CO2 - N2O) to     activate lock up
•  Available only with included ATI Outlaw Torque     Converter

ATI Lock-Up Conversion Kit
Conversion from 6 to 32 or 35 spline Bruno OUTPUT will require:
- 32 or 35 spline drum - ADD $350
- 32 or 35 spline ring gear for Lenco/Liberty or similar trans - obtain from the transmission manufacturer
 
A 30-spline INPUT Conversion will require the following (ADD $510):
- Different pump, set of gears, wear plate
- Case machining for C6 style pump & lock up stator tube
(Previous 30 spline converters will not be usable!)
